Seminar on the topic “Water Management for a Sustainable Future” for second-year MBA students in association with IQAC on June 8, 2023, Thursday at 2.30 p.m. The resource person for this session was Mr. Yathish Baikampady, Director, Environmental Committee, Indian Red Cross Society, Karnataka, and Campus Director at Amrita Vidyalaya, Mangalore.
Under IQAC and Human Rights club organized an Expert Lecture on “Voting as a Constitutional Responsibility: Issues and concerns” for First MBA students on 30th March 2023 in the conference hall at 3.00 PM. Mr Eugine D’Cunha, Lawyer, Mangalore was the resource person.
Ms. Swathi and Mrs. Anitha M, avid bikers from Bangalore, delivered a dynamic seminar on “Better Environment, Better Tomorrow” on October 10, 2022, which garnered keen interest from MBA students. The seminar passionately advocated for environmental stewardship and its direct impact on shaping a sustainable future.
Better The Best: An Extra Mile to Walk Workshop was organized on 18-07-2022. Mr. Rajendra Bhat K, National level Trainer was the resource person. workshop was designed for First-year MBA students to understand the importance of communication skills, human relationship and networking, group dynamics and corporate etiquettes.
Seminar on the topic ‘Professionalism and Communication Skills’ was organized on 05.04.2022. Dr P.P Devan, AJIMS was the resource person.
Under IQAC & Elixir an Expert Lecture was organized on the theme “Employee Benefits and its Compliance – an overview” for the 2nd year students on 11th March, 2022 in the Conference Hall, AJM. Mr. Sushanth Alva, Director, Avashyak Corporate Services, Bangalore.

On March 2, 2022, Mr. Udayananda, an esteemed Advocate from Mangalore, delivered an insightful seminar on “Human Rights and Gender Equity”.

On July 16, 2021, a webinar was held with the theme “Drug Abuse and Human Trafficking”. Mr. V Jayaram from Mangalore as the resource person. Mr. Jayaram’s insights and expertise shed light on the critical issues of drug abuse and human trafficking.

The seminar on “Awareness on Fire and Safety Emergencies” held on 18-03-2021 by Mr. Satyaraj from First Neuro Hospital. Mr. Satyaraj’s expertise, coupled with the hands-on demonstration, made the seminar highly impactful, ensuring that students gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in handling fire and safety emergencies.

Under IQAC and Anti-Harassment Women Cell, an expert lecture program was organized on the theme “Legal Rights and Gender Sensitization” for the II nd year MBA students on 9th September 2019 in the Conference Hall, AJIM. Ms. Avni Bhatia (Trainer and Campaign Manager, Josh Talks, ITC Vivel) was the resource person.
April 4, 2019, a session on “Tobacco Consumption, Hypertension, and Present Lifestyle” was held for MBA students. Dr. Sushma Adappa, District Programme Coordinator of NPCDCS, Mangalore, Mr. Anuragh Suvarna, District Finance and Logistics Consultant of NPCDCS, Mangalore, and Dr. Preetha C. Shekhar, District Consultant of NTCP, Mangalore, delivered the seminar.
A seminar on “Contribution of Women in Promoting Social Entrepreneurship” was held for MBA students on March 6, 2019, by Dr. Devi Prabha Alva, an associate professor of commerce at St. Agnes College. Dr. Alva emphasized how crucial women are to the advancement of social entrepreneurial activities.
The District Fire Officer of Mangalore, Mr. Sri. Mohd. Zulfikhar Nawas, led a fire safety demonstration session for MBA students on 07-09-2018. Mr. Nawas delivered practical instruction and demonstrated crucial tools and methods for fire safety. He underlined the significance of an immediate and well-coordinated reaction in an emergency.
